Description

Angraecum sesquipedale v. augustifolia  'Orchid Dynasty' x self   (photo is of 'Orchid Dynasty') This is the compact form of the famous Darwin's Orchid- sesquipedale is truly the king of the genus. This form still has very large flowers (to 6" in diameter with an 18" nectary) but the plant is overall more compact and hase slightly narrow leaves. Flower spikes emerge from late November - January.  Older plants can have 3 flowers per spike and specimens can produce multiple spikes. Very fragrant after dark.

TEMPS: Intermediate- Warm

WATERING: Damp in the Summer with a slight dry between waterings in the cooler months.

LIGHT: Filtered, bright light
