Description

Dendrobium parishii   A favorite species famous for its raspberry fragrance, known as one of the "hono-hono orchids" in Hawaii, parishii is a great species and native to the Himalayas. Stays much more compact than its big cousin Den. anosmum.

These are from a seedling group of variegated plants but show very little variegation. This can change with new growth. 

 

SEASON: Spring

TEMPS: Warm- Intermediate

WATERING: (MONSOONAL) In summer, keep damp but well drained the entire growing season and once growth matures in the late Fall, let media completely dry between waterings. January 1 reduce watering to one time per month until new growth commences in the Spring then return to Summer schedule

LIGHT:  Filtered, bright light
