Description
Phalaenopsis violacea 'Ruby Fire' x speciosa v. imperitrix
A new release from our breeding, this is a remake of Germaine Vincent but we used our best solid-colored types hoping for brilliant, solid flowers. Many will have pleasing white-tipped petals.
*Note Both species have very delicate and thin leaves which can be prone to bacterial/fungal spots and mechanical damage. They can be grown in sphagnum, traditional orchid bark or mounted. We prefer mounting long term as this will display their short flower spikes best and keep the foliage from touching other plants which can cause damage.
SEASON: Spring-Summer
TEMPS: Hot- Intermediate
WATERING: Well watered with a slight dry between waterings, can dry more in the Winter but should never be completely dry.
LIGHT: Bright filtered light
NOTE: These are a seedling population and there will be variation. Any photos shown are images of our actual plants that we have grown and represent the possibility of each plant under proper care but will NOT BE THE PLANT YOU RECEIVE. Please refer to the description of pot size/maturity for actual plant size
